Hailing from his triumphant performance with the New York Philharmonic, Dasol

Kim is one of the most exciting pianists to emerge onto international spotlight. Widely

lauded by the press for his astounding interpretations, he captivates the audience with remarkable tone and utmost clarity.

Dasol Kim frequents with some of the world’s finest orchestras as a soloist, including the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Berlin Chamber Orchestra, MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, Concerto Budapest, and Belgium National Orchestra. He performs regularly with such notable conductors including Alan Gilbert, David Zinman, Myung-Whun Chung, Michael Sanderling, Marin Alsop, and Lawrence Foster.

 

Regularly invited to perform at prestigious music festivals around the world, Dasol

Kim partners to perform with exceptional musicians including David Geringas,

Laurence Lesser, Svetlin Roussev, Sebastian Breuninger, Gautier Capuçon among

others; notable festivals include La roque d’Antheron in France, Kissinger Sommer in

Germany, Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival in Finland and Great Mountain Music

Festival in Korea.

 

Praised for his splendid interpretations of solo piano works, in 2015 his debut

recording on Deutsche Grammophon was released, featuring various solo works by

Robert Schumann. Dasol Kim is engaged to perform the complete cycle of the 32

Piano Sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven in Switzerland and Korea. Future concert

engagements include numerous performances across the globe in the USA, Europe

and Asia. His musical development has been influenced by Gerald Fauth and Arie

Vardi.

Born in 1994 in the family of professional musicians, Marina Grauman began her violin studies at the age of 5. In 2012 she graduated with honors from the Special Music College of the St.Petersburg Conservatoire (Prof. Shalman) and received her Bachelor diploma in 2015, also with honors, at Hochschule für Musik Hans Eisler Berlin, where she is now continuing her master studies under Prof. Ulf Wallin.

 
She performed in Russia, Europe and USA as a soloist with an orchestra (Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, Munich Chamber orchestra, Berliner Camerata, St.Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra, Slovak Sinfonietta etc.) and as a member of various chamber ensembles. The perfomances were broadcasted on BR, SWR, SR, ORF, "Radio Russia" and "Fine Music Radio Capetown".

 

 

During her studies Marina Grauman was respectively a scholarship holder of Russia Young Talent and Russian performing art scholarship in Russia, TONALi 2014, Hans and Stefan Bernbeck Stiftung (Frankfurt) and Lucia Löser Kulturfond (Berlin) in Germany. She also holds a DAAD-Prize 2015 for outstanding effort of international students at German universities.

 

 

 2018-2019 she was a Karajan-Akademist of the Berliner Philharmoniker.

Since September 2019 Marina Grauman is the 1. Concertmaster of the DSO Berlin.

Marius Urba was born in 1988 in Vilnius (Lithuania).

A few years afterwards the family moved to Germany where he received his first cello lessons at the age of seven. He was taught many years by his father, a pupil of Rostropowitsch. After a time there followed prizes at youth competitions, among others the first prize on the national level of “Jugend musiziert”.

At the age of 16 he studied with Prof. Peter Bruns at the HMT-Leipzig, first as a youth student. Some years later he studied with him as a regular student and concentrated at the same time on chamber music. Among his chamber music partners are renowned artists such as Martin Ostertag, Rainer Kussmaul, Lisa Batiashvili or Menahem Pressler. Through the participation in festivals and master classes he could receive musical impulses from artists such as Heinrich Schiff, Wolfgang Boettcher, Phillippe Muller and Janos Starker.

 

During his studies numerous awards and scholarships were bestowed upon him. So he won among others the “Stocker” special prize of the Philharmonie Baden Baden and was scholarship holder of the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation Hamburg, Doms Foundation Basel and Redslob Foundation Berlin. With 22 years he gave his concert debut in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. After completing his studies there followed engagements as substitute 1. Solo cellist in the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, and furthermore as 1. Solo cellist in numerous orchestras as for example the Staatsoper Hannover oder the Bergen Symphony Orchestra in Norway. Due to such busy orchestral activity he could work together with such conductors as Semyon Bychkov, Andris Nelsons, Herbert Blomstedt und Danielle Gatti. Since 2014 he is a regular member of the Bamberg Symphony –Bavarian State Philharmonic and plays regularly in the Esbjerg Ensemble (Denmark).

 Marius Urba is currently playing an instrument by Carlo Giuseppe Testore, Mailand 1697.
